1. What is HFC-125 ?

  • Marketed by DuPont™ under the trade name FE-25™
  • HFC-125 is non-conductive, non-corrosive, safe for occupied spaces, leaves no residue, and is preferred by end-users whose primary concerns are protecting their valuable assets and cost.
  • HFC-125 demonstrates the closest match to Halon returning many cost and design benefits the industry lost with Halon 1301 after the signing of the Montreal Protocol.

2. Original Evalulation of HFC-125

  • In 1992 HFC-125 was the leading candidate to replace Halon 1301
  • The pressure traces, vaporization, and spray patterns nearly duplicated  Halon 1301
  •  Because of a Class B fuel being used to establish the Class A extinguishing concentration, the design concentration was established above the NOAEL of 7.5%

Block Diagram Dalam satu plant terdapat banyak system yang saling berintegrasi didalamnya yang bila digambarkan dalam satu lembar kertas akan sangat sulit, maka untuk memudahkan memahami garis besar atau bagian utama dari suatu plant maka dibuat block diagram.
